The phoenix is just so cool, different then anything out there. And his abilites reflect the mythology surrounding this creature so well. I want him in my army(but only after i paint him Razz).

Not exceptionally strong for 4RP but that's not where its talent lies. Although the 4RP is quite steep for its abilities and the Phoenix uses a lot of AoW cards, I imagine it will become increasingly valuable in long battles. And an 8 dice area attack is nothing to be ashamed of. The bane of all turtling units and their guarding troops. Hector and his Wall of Troy beware!!

Very special unit. I can see it come in very handy in certain tactics.
