I love how they captured the Eagle 'In-Action'!

I agree .. it lookes like it is making a grab for prey!

Yes I'm also very much a fan of the sculpt!  

In game he is simple and effective for a 2RP unit. No bells and whistles but a fast flyer with decent damage (+re-roll blanks and torment so victim -1 defense, so effectively ~8 attack dice) for its points value. Defense and vitality not that great, though - but what do you expect for 2RP.

With 3 movement (only Typhon and Bellerophon also have 3 movement), may also be used as Omphalos runner, although he doesn't have block. "Flying units can ignore Block for movement, but cannot claim Omphalos in that area."

Yea they have done a great capture of this eagly. Would have like to seen this pose in the art as well. I prefer the art and the sculpt being the same.

I like very much the pose of the mini.

The unit is a very good pick : 2RP only for one of the fastest unit in play (3 move & fly) and a nice attack capacity. Very polyvalent unit.

Now what do we call a terrestrial unit ? My first pick was terrestrial opposed to flying unit but what about aquatic unit ? Why wouldn't the eagle have advantage also against swimming units ?

Aquatic units weren't in the game yet when the Hephaestus expansion was announced, so that's probably why this version of the dashboard says terrestrial units. Thy probably could have gotten away with saying non-flying without spoiling anything though. It's one of those things that will probably change by the time the game goes to print.
