That painted mini is just AWESOME. I also will never reach that quality, because i dont have the skill nor the willingness to put that much time into one mini.

I'd have prefered him to look more human. He is one of my least favorite sculpts in the game to be honest, and the reason I have no interest in the hell's judges.

I also like him the least - miniature-wise, but the Hell Judges offer plenty of strategical possibilities that justify them in my eyes. I do (obviously) not know if they are strong enough to take all three, but I imagine them to mess with the enemy's tactics quite well ^^

All packages do offer some new options yes, but sadly I can't afford them all so I had to make some tough choices there.

"The Walking Furnace"
In any case: Minos may be by far the most interesting of the three judges due to his ability to redirect an enemy attack to a new target for 1 AoW. The better range that enemy unit has, the more potential targets Minos can appoint. I can imagine this can be very frustrating for your opponent and consequently, when used Minos will be high on the list of priority targets.
A way to counter him is to position your units well so they can only attack the enemy unit you want. Another idea is to pick area attackers or multiple attack units (Apollo, Eurythus).
For the rest he is quite an agressive character for his 3RP, 6/7 and 7 vitality. He eats enemy Troops to regain 1 vitality.
Mighty Throw, Force of Nature .. he must feel confident in the front lines with his redirective ability!
Must be fun to play and really annoying to play against!
Must say I agree - and besides: there's more sympathetic units to choose from. And certainly better looking ones!Rhalius wrote:I'd have prefered him to look more human. He is one of my least favorite sculpts in the game to be honest, and the reason I have no interest in the hell's judges.

Would be fun to use with Hades/Persephone to trigger their powers by killing enemy troops for free. You could conceivably use his deception power to redirect enemy attacks onto your weakened troops/nearly-dead units to hasten their deaths for a quick heal/card draw.
Minos could potentially combo off of Eurystheus' invulnerability if you can somehow position him to where he's often in the enemy units' range.

I have seen some paint in progress photos of this mini : the front grate was removed to be able to paint the furnace in the belly.
(it was another paint I believe)
