Should we keep the forum alive?
Re: Vote about the forum
I think this should stay up.
- You already spend so much time getting it done
- It was the first ;-)
- It's unofficial which also has advantages compared to an official Forum (e.G. critical discussion if something should even go wrong)
If you can somehow handle it with your own time management, it should stay up. I also think that the existence of the new official forum could lead to more ppl finding this forum in the future.

Re: Vote about the forum
As much as I found this forum interesting, I vote to close it.
The good stuff we exchanged here needs to be shared with the community and the best place for it is the official forum.
Of course we need to keep this forum available for reference for some time until it is not useful anymore.

I don't think the official forum has topics about all the creatures, heroes, troops and gods. Only checked it briefly though, have not signed up yet there.

The thing is that I initially thought about dutch forums as a way to meet up with dutch and belgian players. It would only become really active when the games had actually arrived.
Not sure if the official forum is replacing that function.
So I'll leave it up to you people.

Im all for keeping it up besides the Official one. There are already some statements here why it would be good.

Re: Vote about the forum
You should keep it, even if i don't think i will participate much and be mainly on the official one, MB need unofficial forum as much as the official one. Also you all did a great job here so you should keep up the good work. On the other hand, i think it can be nice to copy/paste some of the interresting topic in the official forum and do the same on the other side...

Yes, let it alive, the Mockdrafts are funny as hell, and there is so much work gone into this Forum. Let us keep it.
Re: Vote about the forum
For now i also vote yes. Some of the section on this Forum are pretty usefull and i dont see them on the official forum. Probably will be a drop down in activity, which is to be expected.

Re: Vote about the forum
I recommend using your collective time and energy to help shape the official forum to be the most useful it can be. If there are prohibitions that wouldn't allow for things this group feels is important in the forum, then maintain this one. Otherwise, I recommend consolidating all of the useful information and discussions in a single place.
Thanks for all your efforts no matter what you decide. I'd gladly play the game with any of you lot!

Re: Vote about the forum
The forum will stay open, I am curious to see what happens when the game arrives. If people are not posting after a while when the game has been delivered to us I will probably close it down. A dip in posting is to be expected now.
People who want to help moderate can drop me a PM, I am gratefull for all the help. Thanks for all your input.

Re: Vote about the forum
I imagine that activity will pick up once the pledge manager arrives, then less activity while we wait for the game and I assume it will get pretty active once the game is out.

Re: Vote about the forum
As I am very disappointed with the gameplay after 10 sessions, I decided to cancel my pledge/ask a refund.
So if I could I would change my vote to "No".
