Hector "weird hair" of Troy: Tamer of Horses .. Leader of Many Troops .. and Master of Walls!
Hector is your standard troop booster for 3RP and he brings 2 AoW cards. He isn't exceptionally strong but he has that ability to activate additional units, unfortunately (unlike Odysseus, Athena or Agamemnon) they must be Troops. They don't have to be in his area, which makes his skill a lot more useful. Basically he has a double leader talent, which does him justice regarding the Troy background story. You wouldn't want to pick Hector when not playing with at least 2 Troops units. And I imagine him being particularly handy when you use units that bring their own troops but don't have the Leader talent - like Arachne, Dragon of Thebe, Circe, Scylla or Hephaestus.
His other talent is even more special. When he withdraws "behind the walls" with a unit of Troops his area can't be entered by anything but flying units. Meaning the units in that area can't be attacked by range 0 melee (as long as his area isn't full, otherwise the +1 range for melee units outside a full area kicks in). Depending on your opponent's army composition that can be an extremely powerful skill.
All in all, Hector definitely has his uses.

Certainly someone that can be very strong and usefull under the right conditions.
Of course some gods and units bring their own troops for free, but there's also Hades who benefits from death of his own units, so having multible troop units also works to his advantage. He can recall them after all and when they die he heals a hitpoint and draws a card.
Personally I am also quite interested in putting Hector and Paris together in an army, as brother in arms. I just really like that idea. They might actually work very well together if you put them in a space along with a troop. Paris is vurnerable but a ranged hero killer. That wall of troy ability would help keep him safe.
Quite nice that the two brothers do have some synergy that way that actually allows them to be put together.
