Re: Orpheus : The Perfect Musician [BG]
Orpheus is a 2RP hero with a few special skills. Like Echo (also a "sonic" 2RP hero) enemies in the area and adjacent must pay 1 AoW card to activate. In comparison he brings an AoW card though, but has 1 less activation.
Next to that he has a Rapture skill. I think Orpheus works best that way, deliberately not doing damage and continuously singing his enemies to sleep. A sleep they can only fight by paying activation and AoW cards. Potentially very powerful. Especially considering his low RP cost.

Seeing how he'd need protection anyways, his bolster and leader abilities will be very helpfull too for his guardian.

Re: Orpheus : The Perfect Musician [BG]
I think Rapture need to be rewritten. I am pretty sure that Orpheus himself is not meant to "attack" with this power, only to distribute Rapture-Tokens.
I also think the second part is only meant to describe that Rapture Tokens are returned to his pool either because the target unit is attacked before it's next turn, or because the unit spent it's activation to get rid of it.
Reading the ability, it makes little sense to make a traditional Area-Attack (also without range, potentially damaging Orpheus entourage along the way) on top.

I think you are correct. After all, it doesn't say that Orpheus uses any strength value to make his attack.ARIAKAS wrote:I think Rapture need to be rewritten. I am pretty sure that Orpheus himself is not meant to "attack" with this power, only to distribute Rapture-Tokens.
That makes him the unit I thought he would be. Very potent for such a 2RP hero!

I asked over at the Kickstarterpage if Orpheus does "traditionally" attack with rapture in addition to the tokens, dealing damage with this power.

and therefore confirmed our thoughts. The power only dishes out the tokens on friends and foes, but does not include "attacks", contrary to the current text.Quirkworthy wrote:Orpheus' Rapture is not an attack.
