Cecrops : Chooser of Patron [BG]

A typical 3RP support unit - his 6/7 is pretty standard as are his 6 vitality.

He's a very decent AoW card source, not only does he bring 2, he can also search for one during his 4 activations when in the same area as his God. Especially nice to speed things up and make use of special powers and double activations. A solid hero. With his added Troops boost talents he makes a very good companion for your God or Goddess. Especially if he/she isn't the outgoing type, so to speak.

His second power may come in handy more often than you'd expect. With +1 movement he may run an Omphalos or chase an enemy runner. His mobility also makes him usable as a hit-and-run unit: attack and then move away. With +1 range he may attack units outside his own area while still being in his God's area. Or attack units in Hector's fortress.

Quite a versatile unit.

He seems like an exellent hero to keep in the area of his god along with a unit of troops. He'd be boosting those troops and allowing them a free attack and also providing art of war cards at the same time. And due to his ranged attack he can be activated when with her, do an attack and remain in that area.

As a side note I really like how this makes him work quite nicely with his patron goddess Athena. And his sculpt is also beautifull.
